More geocaching fun

My family went for a geocaching walk in Cerritos Regional Park today. We hit three caches and left one of our own. This hobby is great fun. It gets you out of the house. It offers a bit of a puzzle, and puts your mind to work. I'll be doing this for a long time.

The caches at Cerritos Regional Park are easy to find if you use your goesense. The people who hide these things are quite inventive. I'm getting better at it. My son "blade" is a pro already.

Today we found:

Hey bro, so what is geocaching. Jim wants to know if you were out hunting cheap chevys?

I'm not sure what geocaching is. Can you explain a little further? Sounds interesting.

Charly.

Geocaching, is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which participants (called "geocachers") use a Global Positioning System receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache (pronounced /kæʃ/ like the English word cash) is a small waterproof container containing a logbook and "treasure" (usually toys or trinkets of little monetary value). Some variations of the game include a point system to enhance game play.
